Abstract :
The range of a fuzzy regression interval is decided by the collected data and a confidence level, h. Since this confidence level is an overall attitude toward the collected data, if the possibility of occurrence of each datum can be revealed, which can be done by data analysis, then regression analysis should be more precisely done. Therefore, fuzzy goal programming method is proposed in this case to solve a fuzzy regression equation without giving value h. Numerical examples are provided for illustration.
