Abstract :
CdS layers on molybdenum were synthesized from separate elements in open flowing hydrogen. The surface micromorphology and some electrical and photoluminescent properties were investigated. The nature of the layer edge photoluminescence peaks are discussed in the framework of the excited exciton model
