Abstract :
A scheme for designing a high precision MEMS integrated navigation system based on DSP and FPGA is proposed. The FPGA is used for collecting the multi-channel data and the DSP is for providing the navigation solution. FPGA and DSP can exchange data with each other through a dual-port RAM. The navigation parameters are sent to PC through RS232 interface. The inertial devices of the system use the newly developed MEMS quartz tuning fork gyroscope and MEMS quartz vibrating beam accelerometer. The MIMU/GPS integrated navigation system is fabricated and tested, and the experiment results demonstrate that the EKF algorithm is effective and the system has the high accuracy, strong resistance to disturbance.
