Abstract :
In this paper, based on the development of virtual reality, a new real-time control method was introduced. This method was developed on the basis of MATLAB environment and takes effect to control a one-stage inverted pendulum system which was a typical unstable controlled object. The article introduces key techniques such as mathematical modeling of inverted pendulum, modeling of virtual reality system, how to link the model and control method. In the end, a VR model for one-stage inverted pendulum system using MATLAB virtual reality toolbox was built, simulation and real-time control of this system were also implemented, and result shows that this method takes on vivid 3D demo effect and robust control performance. Virtual reality technique was an advanced man-machine interaction technique; it can also be used on large engineering projects broadly, such as military affairs, aeronautics and astronautics and so on.
