Abstract :
This paper presents a linear array core optical fiber that can be directly connected and coupled with a single core fiber. We propose a convenient preparation technique. With this production technology, we have successfully produced a 5-core and 23-core optical fiber linear array core optical fiber, and we tested its refractive index distribution and transmission properties of light. Further, we calculated optical transmission coupling characteristics of each core and supermodel properties of a linear array 23 core optical fiber as a representative. This study can provide the basis for special optical fiber design, production, and has a reference for other similar microstructure fiber analysis and application.
