Abstract :
Slit Streak Tube Imaging Lidar (STIL) is a promising imaging system as its high frame rate and good image quality. It can output the 4-D image (3-D range image + 1-D intensity image). And its functionality demonstrated for imaging of short scale ocean surface waves. Accuracy of sea-wave height measurement requires high resolution range supplied by this system. But the backscattered of sea water has an effect on the extraction of range and intensity information. In this paper, according to STIL, we deduce the signals of energy of reflected and backscattered light and analysis the effect on the extraction of range and intensity information.
