  • Abstract
    A conformal active phased array antenna the shape of which is an elliptical cylinder was developed. Features of this antenna and transceiver/receiver module, digital beam forming (DBF) architecture developed for conformal antenna, and measured antenna patterns both in transmitting and in receiving, are described. The validity of the two-dimensional DBF with the maximum S/N weight design architecture confirmed through an experiment are also presented
