  • Abstract
There is an abundance of information that outlines every new concept and idea on how to improve supply chain performance. But what works for one customer or company/industry will not necessarily work for another. In the world of supply chain, the one-size-fits-all tools no longer exist now. Companies that indiscriminately adopt new supply chain strategies many find their efforts failed. So the key to supply chain success lies in flexibly providing with customers tailed supply chains and matching the right strategies with right situation. The paper describes a framework for how to identify distinct supply chains and provide tailor-made supply chain solutions to customers to improve the total supply chain performance.
