Abstract :
Summary form only given. Our research focuses on the development of widely tunable (1-3 THz) THz-wave source with high temporal and spatial coherence. In the paper, an injection-seeded THz-wave parametric generator (TPG) was demonstrated using nonlinear crystals that were pumped by a Nd:YAG laser. Spectrum narrowing to the Fourier transform limit was achieved by injection seeding to the idler wave (near-infrared Stokes). Without injection seeding, the THz-wave linewidth is normally >500 GHz for a conventional TPG.
