Abstract :
The storage density between the shift multiplexing derived previously and the spatial filter multiplexing method are compared. The recording density is linearly proportional to the thickness of the recording material for the shift multiplexing. However, it is independent of the thickness for the spatial-filter multiplexing. The spatial filter multiplexing is the superior method for use in thin recording material.
