Abstract :
The wide and growing use of optimization in every branch of science and technology makes it an important issue for researchers. There are two kinds of algorithm for optimization problem: deterministic and stochastic. To overcome the disadvantages of them, we proposed a new hybrid algorithm. In our algorithm we selected Pattern Search (PS) as deterministic and Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) as stochastic. This algorithm is based on the population of points that perform PS and use ABC strategy to move. We evaluate the proposed algorithm on the some benchmark functions and the results are very promising.
