Abstract
Switched reluctance motor (SRM) is on the focus of many researchers and it is becoming a proper alternative to conventional motors because of its unique advantages. Although the driving technologies and control methods are well developed, its utilization needs the optimization of these methods and motor design aspects, simultaneously. In this paper the studies on optimum design of SRM and the various aspects of motor design are discussed.
