Abstract
The future global personal communications networks (PCN) will not only mean the digital wireless networks, but also include ATM-based B-ISDN as the backbone in order to provide versatile internetworked personal communications services (PCS). There is an obvious need to construct a generalized mechanism of secure internetworked information service creation for future PCN with better performance in some aspects. The purpose of this paper is to conduct some detailed study on analyses and comparisons of our proposed generalized mechanism with currently available Xerox Cedar RPC, Andrew RPC, Amoeba RPC and Kerberos RPC in order to show our better performance in some aspects
