Abstract :
Nd-doped LiNbO/sub 3/ waveguide lasers have been studied actively for implementation of waveguide devices with new functions by integration of the waveguide lasers and other waveguide components. In this work we used thermally Nd-diffused MgO:LiNbO/sub 3/ substrates and demonstrated the first CW oscillation of Z-cut Ti:LiNbO/sub 3/ waveguide lasers.
