  • Abstract
    A new version of an eighth-harmonic converter is analysed, which consists of a TE111-mode cavity and an adjacent TE81 -mode cylindrical waveguide. Driven by 40 MW of RF power at 11.424 GHz, a 500 kV, 60.5 A Brillouin beam is accelerated in the cavity and generates up to 13 MW of output power at 91.392 GHz
