Abstract
Reverse logistics is the logistics process of removing new or used products from their initial point in a supply chain, such as returns from consumers. In the first section, the paper gives a brief account of the reverse logistics, and several points of view about reverse logistics in literature are introduced. In the second section, it deals with the impacts of reverse logistics and factors which should be involved in selecting 3PLs as service providers. At last, the paper has a discussion over the challenges for reverse logistics.
