Abstract :
A novel system was developed for the measurement of the third-harmonic generation (THG) spectrum. Femtosecond near infrared (NIR) pulses are generated by the optical parametric mixing of a femtosecond continuum created by self-phase-modulation in a KTiOPO/sub 4/ crystal.
