Abstract :
The paper describes on-going work that is currently taking place in adopting nonlinear fuzzy models, represented as three dimensional piecewise linear surfaces, for use within nonlinear control strategies. Graphical results are presented and comparisons are drawn between the fuzzy modelling approach and that of the more traditional nonlinear ARMA model structures
