Abstract

As investment in logistics infrastructure is increasing in China, and logistics technique and equipment is enhancing, the logistics industry is booming. After analyzing the logistics cost of China´s logistics industry from 1991-2006, the paper presents qualitative and quantitative forecast of the industry. Finally, by analyzing the modes of logistics cost management in some developed countries, it provides management innovation be adopted in logistics enterprises to reduce costs for higher profit margin.
