Abstract :
Metabolic pathways constructed from sequenced genomes or transcriptomes can not only help predict metabolic phenotypes and discover enzyme but also provide an essential context for understanding comprehensive experimental data and the systematic workings of a cell. In the present study we compared the metabolic pathways of two Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae strains by Pathway Tools, a web-based pathway tool software, and found some important differences between them, especially in the ppGpp biosynthesis pathway. This study provided a reference for further research on the biology characteristics of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae.
