Abstract :
A new method was put forward to measure the errors of bevel gear and corresponding measure device was invented. The measure gear was made by pasting the metal silks on the teeth. The advantage of the device was the error (including tangential composite error, tangential tooth-to-tooth composite error, radial composite error, total cumulative pitch error and total alignment error et al) can be measured by the measure gear. The measure gear can be made conveniently. The error caused by the pasted metal silk was assessed. Also the three dimension model of the measured gear can be founded by the errors measured by the device. The model contains all the error information of the measured gear.
