Abstract :
A PUSH-type optical data transceiver module that is optimized for a point-to-point unidirectional data link is described. The data transfer speed was tested with a 20 MHz 68020 CPU. Maximum speed of 6 MB/sec was achieved for the data transfer of large size packet. Several protocols for sending a packet were tested. They could recover the data flow after the reconnection of the links.<>
