Abstract :
With the rapid development of Internet and network-based manufacturing, the Internet-based remote diagnosis system (RDS) has become the focus in manufacturing system areas. RDS is a complex system with typical business process characteristics. However, there is little research work made on RDS with workflow principle. Still less some achievement in analyzing the time feature of the real time diagnosis service. In this paper, two modeling methods-GPSN and workflow are combined to model RDS. First, a GPSN workflow model of RDS is proposed. According to empirical data, certain parameters are assigned to each transition in the model. Then the time feature of state inquiry service is analyzed with a performance analysis method, behavior expression based method. Finally, some information, such as the total state inquiry service time, various computing time of various model and so on, are obtained that facilitate optimization for the whole RDS.
