            Abstract : 
Achieving speedup in discrete-event simulations of communication networks can be done through the use of a network of heterogeneous workstations. The authors describe the realization of an environment for performing these simulations through the use of a graphical user interface tool. With this environment, they evaluated the parallel discrete-event simulation program by simulating Omega networks
