Abstract :
The present paper considers hybrid retransmission techniques in systems with closed loop power control, CDMA uplink for example. The known solution includes the threshold adjustment as a function of the decoding quality, i.e., the signal power is increased at unsuccessful decoding, and vice versa. The type 2 hybrid retransmission algorithm with puncturing to be used jointly with the threshold adjustment algorithm is proposed.
