Abstract :
Based on the standards limiting the harmonic pollution of electronic systems, the use of PFC converter is mandatory. In this paper a new resonant single stage PFC converter is introduced for low power applications. This converter is analyzed and the theoretical and simulation results are presented. To show the validity of analysis, a 80 W prototype of the converter is realized. The presented experimental results show the high power factor and high efficiency of the proposed converter.
