Abstract :
Locating rail/road intermodal terminals for freight is decided by the spatial distribution of the multimodal transport network and the shortest path between supply node and demand node. The location problem of rail/ road transfer terminals is formulated by an integer linear programming model. Considering the fuzzy uncertainty in intermodal transport network, the solution to the location model is proposed by the node label algorithm of the fuzzy shortest path with uncertainty arc length. The efficiency and the accuracy of our proposed approach are demonstrated by an illustrative example.
