Abstract :
This paper presents a new content-based digital image-watermarking technique, which is effective in resisting geometry attack. With the robustness of the proposed Multi-scale Curvature Product (MSCP) corner detection algorithm, MSCP is utilized to extract corners from the low frequency components of the images after 3-level lifting wavelet transformation, and then the watermark is embedded into all the high-frequency coefficients of the corresponding corner point locations. Inverse operation of the embedded watermark is performed at those coefficients and the watermark can be obtained with the given key. Experiment results show the robustness of this approach, especially in resisting geometry attack such as RST (Rotation, Scaling and translation) and cutting attack.
