Abstract :
In this paper, we suggest the self-adjusting lighting system based on the user density and mobility (SALS) to reduce energy consumption in the office building. SALS classifies local areas into four classes according to the user density/mobility and provides an adaptive lighting service. SALS reduces the energy consumption of our test bed up to 47.8%.
