Abstract :
To overcome the problems happening to most current weather-related terminal software systems, on which the information is organized in a two-dimensional way, with poor information representation ability, as well as a single dull expression technique, this paper study the superiority of managed DirectX and C# in software development, and then propose a 3D meteorology monitoring system based on multi-resolution LOD under terrain data, and finally provide a detailed study of the key technology used to implement the system. With a friendly user interface, the 3D meteorology system can display vivid 3D model and friendly interaction.
