Abstract :
We examined how music impressions changed when artificial vibration was incorporated as a constituent element of a musical composition. Subjects listened to several music samples to which different types of artificial vibration had been incorporated, and then subjectively evaluated resulting changes to their impressions of the music. As a result, it was clarified that the intentional application of artificial vibration could result in a sensitivity amplification factor on the part of a listener.
