Abstract :
Recommender system plays an important role in current electronic or mobile commerce. Powered by information technology, it provides information elements that are likely of interest to customers. Benefits of recommender systems include reduced searching time and improved sales volume. Different from other studies which focus on algorithms and performance measuring, we aim at understanding the current status of and factors that influence the development and acceptance of service-oriented recommender systems. Two types of key factors include common and domain specified factors, were identified. Implications toward academic and practitioners were provided as well.
