Abstract :
Stochastic oscillations were observed in microwave electron devices. The excess noise and azimuthal space charge oscillations in crossed-field dynamical systems were studied at the preoscillation stage. It was found that the cause of nonregular oscillations in magnetrons are random jumping against different oscillation modes or oscillation interruptions but not noise arising. To simplify such nonlinear dynamical systems we proposed to investigate simple magnetron diode behavior.
