Abstract :
The subject investigated in this paper is oil-water two-phase flow, an image data capture system (IDCS) for 8 electrodes electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) of oil/water two-phase flow is discussed, an alternating current circuit measuring small capacitance and a control circuit of data capture are designed. The advantages of the system are as followings: the high measuring speed, the high-resolution ratio, and the little measuring error. Especially it can remove the effects of the stray capacitance in theory. The results of the experiment discussed in this paper indicates that the time of the image data capture of IDCS is less than 0.1 S, its accuracy is 0.3%, and its resolution ratio is 0.05%; the reconstructed section image, which is on the basis of image data captured by the system discussed in this paper, is in accordance with the facts, thus the accuracy of the split phase obtained is 1%
