Abstract :
The new SDH network in Thailand is an integrated network, where different media such as OFC and radio relay is used to transmit the SDH payloads. This article describes the SDH radio route characteristics and performance such as route map. The radio system use 128 QAM modulations with upper 6 GHz band, 40 MHz channel spacing for STM-1 signal. The channel arrangement is in accordance with Rec. ITU-R F384-6. Baseband interfaces inclusive the SOH processing has to be considered for STM-1 signals in accordance with Rec. ITU-R F,750-3. The system performance objectives is based on the rec. TU-RF.11891 and rec. ITU-T G.826.
