Abstract :
A multi-scale and multi-threshold denoising method based on the best wavelet packet basis and a new threshold function are put forward, which is based on the wavelet packet transform and the traditional threshold denoising method .Some faults of orthogonal wavelet transform can be overcome via using wavelet packet transform. The simulation experiments for Droppler signals show that the new threshold function can suppress the white noise effectively, it is better than the classical hard, soft and a improved threshold function referred to [6] denoising methods in the visual effect and SNR and MSE. Thus, it has high practical value in signal denoising.
