Abstract :
The characteristics of surface acoustic wave (SAW) propagating along rolling plates will change because of the existence of Coriolis force and centrifugal force. The change of the characteristics of SAW will lead a frequency shift. According to this, a new scheme of a difference rotation sensor using SAW device is discussed. A difference structure is presented, meanwhile the performance parameter and a method of signal processing has been analysed. The analysis shows this device can be competent, which has some other advantages such as high stabilization, high sensitivity, digital output and quasi wireless potential etc.
