Abstract :
The rigid solution of the wave scattering problem on a transversely magnetized ferro-dielectric layer in a rectangular waveguide has been obtained. The convergence of the numerical computation of the dissipation matrix elements depending on the values of the magnetic field has been studied. In case of the absence of a dielectric a similar solution has been obtained and its accuracy has been determined.
