Abstract :
This paper illustrates the high potential of microwave signals for biological sample analysis. Indeed, microwave can penetrate inside biological cells to interact with their intracellular content and inform on their malignant or normal state. The presented work demonstrates the capability of RF resonant biosensors to differentiate cancer cells that present a different cellular tumoral aggressiveness level. This is a promising approach, because up to now only tissues visual inspection method, mainly based morphological study of cell making the tumor, is used for such analysis since no efficient immune-staining marker is currently available to recognize the cell tumor related aggressiveness.
