Abstract :
In this paper one aspect of mobile phone positioning will be considered. First an overview of the observed time difference (OTD) method is given. The OTD method is based on time delay measurement and is therefore highly affected by the propagation environment. To improve the measurements of the time delay, a simple postprocessing filter based on Teager-Kaiser operator is proposed and compared with other filter types
