Abstract :
Here discussed in detail are the methodology of identifying and evaluating in advance any effect, mainly negative, which results from the implementation of a proposed road upgrading project in Ethiopia, any change to the environment or to its component that may affect human health or safety, flora, fauna, soil, air, water, climate, etc. With a review of the Ethiopian environmental policies and legislative framework, the penman presents the impending different types of environmental impacts of the road upgrading project.
