Abstract
This paper presents the land mobile satellite channel propagation measurements carried out in the city of Madrid using GPS satellites. The measurements were taken with an engineering oriented receiver, whose software has been modified to measure amplitude and phase. With this system, data has been recorded for different environments (urban, semiurban, rural, forest) all in the city of Madrid simultaneously tracking several satellites with different elevations (20°-60°). The data has been statistically processed and the results will fit propagation models for the different environments
