Abstract
A force-plate mounting system (FPMS) which allows rapid changes in force-plate (FP) location, flexibility in FP positioning, and sufficient rigidity for support is presented. The purpose of this design was to allow adjustments to be made in FP location in order to accommodate subject foot positioning during activities such as gait. Additional considerations included rigidity of positioning and stiffness of support irrespective of FP location. The FP mounting system accommodates multiplier FPs, the number of which is limited by the size of the FPs being used and the size of the FPMS rigid base.<>
