Abstract :
This paper addresses the discussion of the characteristics of microwave signals and their impact on nonlinear dynamic systems. Assuming the system is described by a convenient dynamic polynomial model, it is shown how some important metrics of its output response are determined by the excitation´s statistics. Indeed, theory and experiments led to the conclusion that beyond the knowledge of the trajectories in time of the input stimulus, it is of fundamental importance the probability with which each trajectory point is reached.
