            Abstract :
In allusion to the complexity of water environment and the multi-source of water quality monitoring information, this paper firstly introduces the multi-source information integration and fusion technology, and then proposes a model of multi-source information integration and fusion expert system with blackboard architecture. From the view of integration, this paper integrates and unifies multi-source information to control the system; and from the angle of fusion, it deals with multi-source information and builds water quality evaluation models. Finally, we take an experiment on the Tai Lake of China using ground monitoring information and remote sensor imagine information obtained on 4th, May, 1997 by this intelligent system. The result of the experiment shows that this intelligent system is feasible to evaluate water quality.
