Abstract
Differential non-linear measurements are becoming increasingly important in microwave research. For such measurements, the test signals determine the quality and useability of the obtained experimental results. Simulations show that the currently available signal sources are inadequate for non-linear differential measurements. Therefore, a new differential signal source is presented. It is capable of generating the necessary test signals for non-linear differential measurements but can also be used to study other systems with multiple inputs. Measurements are used to show the capabilities of this new signal source.
