Abstract :
This paper presents a systematic method to model the three-phase boost rectifier under non-sinusoidal condition. Since the current loops of boost rectifier are ordinarily designed to have bandwidth much higher than the typical harmonics frequency, the widely used quasi-static method is applied to the analysis. The system frequency characteristics under different operating points are given out. The relationship between operating points and system poles and zeroes is revealed. After that, a practical model for the three-phase boost rectifier under non-sinusoidal condition is proposed. Both the simulation and experimental results verified the analysis and proposed model.
