Abstract :
The performance of digital mobile radio systems employing maximal ratio combining (MRC) diversity is analyzed in the presence of co-channel interference and Gaussian noise in a Nakagami (1960) fading environment. Closed-form expressions are derived for the average probability of error of both coherent and noncoherent (differentially coherent) binary frequency shift keying (FSK) and binary phase shift keying (BPSK) schemes in an environment with Nakagami cochannel interference and noise
