Abstract :
This paper discusses the design of wideband and multiband power amplifiers suitable for software defined radios of emerging ubiquitous and cognitive networks. Different methods for wideband/multi-band matching network (MN) design are presented and advantages and disadvantages of them for power amplifier design are discussed. Example of wideband and multiband power amplifier designs are given as illustrations.
