  • Abstract
A large airborne phased-array antenna was developed for the E-9A Airborne Platform. The array is an active, one-dimensional scan, multiple-channel phased-array with a length of 30 feet and a height of 30 inches. It is a polarization-insensitive antenna system that operates from 2.2 to 2.4 GHz and is capable of simultaneously acquiring and tracking five independent telemetry signals from missiles
